Assignment 18A- Create a Customer Avatar
My customer avatar is not just one person, its multiple people that range from ages 6-18+. Ideally, my avatars are families or groups of friends. Families and friends all have the typical hobbies: from watching movies to attending soccer games or just a simple activity of going to dinner together. They all like going out during the weekends and planning different activities during the day. My avatars love to collect magic bands and taking a road trip to Disney World to go to their favorite park, Magic Kingdom. Families, of course, drive the typical Honda minivan and play music that ranges from old 90s music to current pop charts. Friends drive all different types of cars but my avatars like to drive the Volkswagen Jetta. They all like to listen to old songs from their childhood as well as music from their favorite artists. Families, as well as friends, love watching Netflix shows and talk about their favorite characters. The show that the family likes to watch the most is the Ellen show and the friends love to watch gossip girl or vampire diaries.
I have more in common with my customer avatar that are friends. They enjoy taking road trips as well as watching shows on Netflix and listening to the current pop charts. I don't collect magic bands but I do like to buy them. I don't think its a coincidence that I have things in common with my avatars because I also enjoy going to Disney and doing all the things listed above.

Hey Juliana!
ReplyDeleteI think you hit the nail on the head with your avatar. I think big families in giant mini vans are definitely who would be buying your product. I also think it would be the group of friends who grew up watching Disney movies and still love them today. I think the friend group would most likely be a group of college kids who take a quick road trip on the weekends. Great job describing what you avatars are.
Hey Juliana, your avatar is just how I expected it to be! Full of life and joy, a happy family trying to have a good time without having to worry much about losing their kids around. Having control on what is important to us is priceless. Good job!
ReplyDeleteHi Juliana! You did a great job with this, I really feel like I got to know your target audience better. I appreciate how you kind of did two separate avatars because you know that you have two pretty distinct target audience groups. The avatar's personality and likes and dislikes really make sense to me and I believe these are really the kind of people who would invest in your product and want to buy it. Great post!
ReplyDeleteHey Juliana,
ReplyDeleteI thought the different things that you listed were interesting. I think a lot of people share things in common with your avatars. Disney World/Land is a great place and what makes it even better is that adults can go there and have a great time, and so can children. Disney has managed to create a place that has appeals to a broad age group. This also means it is a great place to go with your family, because you are likely to find a ride or attraction for each member.
